41 mm across, 12 mm thick: the case size that reads as a proper sports watch without overhanging the wrist.
Why 41 mm and 12 mm work together
Diameter gets all the attention, but thickness decides whether a watch is wearable. A 41 mm case at 15 mm thick sits on top of the wrist and catches every cuff; the same diameter at 12 mm tucks under a shirt and disappears when you are typing. That is the proportion we build to across the whole range. The octagonal bezel also makes the watch read slightly smaller than a round 41 mm case, because the flats break up the outline instead of presenting one continuous circle.
What it looks like on different wrists
On a 16 cm wrist a 41 mm integrated case fills the wrist edge to edge and reads as intentionally large. Around 17–18 cm it is the classic proportion this format was designed for. Past 19 cm it reads as a moderate, everyday size rather than a statement. Because the bracelet is integrated and tapers, the visual weight sits at the case rather than spreading across the wrist, which flatters smaller wrists more than a fat round case of the same diameter would.
Dial size and legibility
A 41 mm case leaves a generous dial opening, and we use that space rather than filling it: applied indices, clean hand sets, no crowded text. It is also why the colour builds in this range work — a bright dial needs surface area to register as a colour rather than a dot. Under a flat sapphire crystal, with a sapphire exhibition caseback on the other side, there is nothing in the way of what the watch actually is.
