Question 1

What is a POPBUILDS Full Mod?

Accepted Answer

A Full Mod is a watch we build ourselves: an aftermarket dial is combined with a stainless-steel integrated-bracelet case, an automatic movement and sapphire crystal. Each one is assembled by hand rather than mass-produced.

Question 2

What movement does POPBUILDS use?

Accepted Answer

Our builds use the Seiko NH35 movement.

Question 3

Is the movement automatic?

Accepted Answer

Yes. The NH35 is a self-winding automatic movement and can also be hand-wound.

Question 4

What is the case size?

Accepted Answer

The case measures 41 mm in diameter with a thickness of 12 mm.

Question 5

Will the bracelet fit my wrist?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Every POPBUILDS watch ships with extra stainless-steel bracelet links plus an easy-to-use link removal tool and pin pusher, so the bracelet can be sized up or down at home in about two minutes. With the supplied links it adjusts across roughly 14–21 cm, covering slim to large wrists, and illustrated instructions are included.

Question 6

Do I need a jeweller to resize the bracelet?

Accepted Answer

No. The sizing tool is included in the box — push out a pin, add or remove links, then push the pin back. No watchmaker or appointment needed.

Question 7

What crystal is used?

Accepted Answer

Sapphire crystal on the front, with a sapphire exhibition caseback so the movement stays visible.

Question 8

Is the watch water resistant?

Accepted Answer

Our builds are splash resistant only. They are not intended for swimming, showering, diving or any other submersion.

Question 9

Where do you ship from?

Accepted Answer

All orders are dispatched from our EU warehouse. For our initial launch, POPBUILDS ships within the EU.

Question 10

How long does delivery take?

Accepted Answer

Delivery is typically within a few days and may take up to approximately two weeks.

Question 11

Why can there be small variations between watches?

Accepted Answer

Every POPBUILDS build is individually assembled. Minor variations may occur between individual watches as a result of the hand-assembly process.

Question 12

What happens if my watch arrives damaged?

Accepted Answer

Contact us with your order details and photos of the watch as received, and we'll make it right.

Question 13

How does the replacement policy work?

Accepted Answer

If a fault is caused by our assembly, we'll provide a free replacement or an appropriate remedy. Full details are set out in our warranty and replacement policy.

Question 14

Are POPBUILDS watches affiliated with other watch brands?

Accepted Answer

No. POPBUILDS is an independent aftermarket and custom watch brand. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by any third-party watch manufacturer unless explicitly authorized. Any third-party marks that appear on components remain the property of their respective owners.
