The top of the range
Huit Blanc is the most expensive build we make, and the price comes down to one thing: the dial. A white lacquer face with multicolour applied indices leaves nowhere to hide. Every index has to sit at the same height and angle, the white shows any speck of dust under the sapphire, and the colours have to be spaced so the dial reads as designed rather than as decoration. The dial run behind this listing is the most limited in the range, and the assembly is the slowest — which is why only a couple exist at any one time. On the wrist it is the brightest and most formal build we offer: the white dial makes the steel look almost silver, and the coloured indices only reveal themselves close up, so the watch reads as a clean white dial from across a table and as something far more deliberate in the hand. If you are buying one POPBUILDS as the piece, this is it.
